I’ve been on a spiritual journey since the time I can remember. Observing the world often from what seemed to be me on the inside of a bubble, watching it all unfold around me. Feeling injustices on a deep level and feeling extremely connected to the earth, its energies and the moon.
As a child I exuded a wisdom I am not sure how, came to me. I felt things much deeper than the average person and I was often very misunderstood to the point of being hated and bullied.
I know this isn’t your average about me, but it’s mine. It is the story of how I got here.
I have been an educator, actress, trainer, designer, artist. I have lived in three different countries, experienced a dozen broken hearts, felt romance on a whim and I’ve walked miles barefoot. I’ve danced in the rain, I’ve played in the snow and I’ve lived by my heart. I feel I have lived a 1000 lifetimes before this one and I am wondering how it is all meant to fit together. I will only know by continuing allowing myself to grow. My creativity is my Prana and without it, I’m empty. This blog is part of that, while simultaneously celebrating all that I have learned, and am learning as a woman and the journey I have been on, in this gifted lifetime. Although I have always walked on my own side of the road, this journey of womanhood, is hardly an untravelled path. It has been worn down by the many footsteps before me, before us and I am guided to connect our distances because it is imperative we understand that who we become, has everything to do with who we were and this journey of being a woman.

It is not the journey that breaks us, but it is the pieces of us, we allow ourselves to lose along the way, that leave us broken. It is the breaded trail of our essence which we drop for others, in exchange for life experience. Emptying our pockets one piece of our soul at a time. If we don’t nourish it continuously, replenish it, we arrive at the end of a journey, starved. ~Anita Menotti

The Universe sends us signals when we are no longer growing, and living our full potential or it redirects us when something is no longer serving us.
